Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO of, to Keynote Utah Technology Council’s 2014 Hall of Fame Gala

Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of, will headline the Utah Technology Council’s (UTC) ( 2014 Hall of Fame Celebration.

The annual black-tie event honors the Utah technology industry. The gala, held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, is Friday, November 7, 2014, beginning with a 6 p.m. networking reception, followed by dinner, keynote and program at 7 p.m.

The annual Hall of Fame event honors individuals with Utah ties who have made global contributions to the information technology, clean tech and life science industries through new technology, innovation and leadership. Keynote speakers from past years include Shantanu Narayen of Adobe; Jeff Bezos of; John Chambers of Cisco; Eric Schmidt of Google; Jerry Yang of Yahoo!; Steve Ballmer of Microsoft; Mark Hurd of Oracle; Paul Otellini of Intel and Kevin Rollins of Dell.

“The Hall of Fame is not only the highest-regarded event in the state's technology industry, but has also become one of the biggest events in Utah business,” said Richard R.
