Document management and enhanced productivity are key areas of importance for the Hampden County Registry of Deeds. Last year alone, the Registry recorded 98,467 documents -- an 18 percent increase from 2011 -- and also grew in revenue, collecting nearly $13 million during the 2012 calendar year, a 14 percent increase over 2011.

In addition to daily recordings, Register Ashe has initiated a project to digitize all of the historic records that were obtained when the County offices closed. These documents include the original documentation of railroad plans, county roads, county Highways, and dams.
