SiteSpect, Inc., the leading provider of non-intrusive optimization solutions, today announced that it has promoted Richard Sutton to the position of Vice President of Sales, overseeing SiteSpect’s global sales efforts. Sutton reports to the co-founder and COO of SiteSpect as a member of the executive team.

A long-time employee with SiteSpect, Sutton brings more than twenty years of sales experience and a decade of analytics and optimization solutions selling to his new role. Sutton joined SiteSpect in 2007 and was promoted to Sales Manager in 2008 and to Director of Global Sales and Business Development in 2010.

Prior to SiteSpect, Sutton worked in sales at WebSideStory prior to its acquisition by Omniture, now part of Adobe. Previously, he was with Sane Solutions, selling NetTracker prior to its acquisition by Unica, now part of IBM. Sutton launched his career in analytics at Cotelligent, where he sold Business Intelligence systems integration solutions. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hofstra University in 1992.
