Sixty finalists for the 16th Annual Flashforward Film Festival have been announced. Chosen from designers, animators, directors and artists in 15 categories, final awards will be announced at the festival, which takes place in Austin, TX on September 13 during the Flashforward2006 event.The public is encouraged to select one of the finalists as their choice to be the recipient of the prestigious People's Choice award, giving to the one entry that receives the most votes from viewers.

About the Finalists
Flash web sties nominated by the public are carefully reviewed by a panel of experts from mulitple fields. Four finalists are selected in each of fifteen categories. These finalists represent the state of the art in Flash design and development from around the world.
About the Flashforward Film Festival
The 16th Flashforward Film Festival will culminate in a live awards ceremony to be held during the Flashforward2006 Conference.
