The final donation amount reported by the Road Home was $1,447,000.00. The Holiday Radio-a-Thon is vital to the operation of The Road Home shelter as it raises funds that help provide life saving shelter throughout the winter months.

This year the key communications strategy for the Holiday Radio-a-Thon involved an integrated campaign supported on the web, social and mobile platforms. Working with Vérité, The Road Home content was able to launch 2 weeks earlier than in past years, resulting in increased exposure of the fundraiser through the web, mobile and social tools. Early donations were a key outcome of this and further added to the donation success.
