Symphony Teleca Corporation, the services organization dedicated exclusively to helping clients manage the global convergence of software, the cloud and connected devices, today announced that YouView, the new subscription-free TV service which seamlessly combines catch-up and on-demand, has selected Symphony Teleca as its scaling partner for Adobe® AIR®-based product development services. Through this agreement, Symphony Teleca is providing turnkey services for development, certification and licensing of Adobe AIR to all YouView set-top box OEMs.
YouView offers seven day catch-up from BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand 5 as well as a library of on-demand television programs, films and radio. The easy-to-use TV service has record, pause and rewind TV functionality as well as a simple search. YouView incorporates Adobe AIR for TV to deliver a visually rich and seamless user experience.
