MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinite Z, Inc.®, a technology provider that enables virtual-holographic 3D imagery to bring designs to life, today announced that its realistic 3D visualization experience, zSpace, was presented a Silver Edge Award by Computer Graphics World Magazine, a well-known publication that explores how leading-edge graphics techniques, including 3D modeling, animation and visualization, are used in such applications as film and gaming.
The Silver Edge Awards are selected by the magazine's editorial staff and given to companies whose offerings represent the best in show at the animation industry's leading trade shows - GDC, NAB and SIGGRAPH. The program was created in 2011 and previous winners have included Autodesk, Dassault, Unity, Adobe and NVIDIA.

zSpace is a hardware and software solution that enables designers and engineers to directly manipulate animations as if they were real physical objects. Animation is a key area of focus for Infinite Z and the company is currently offering a version of its zSpace system paired with a beta plug-in for Autodesk® Maya® 2011.
