DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 04/16/12 -- AA-ISP Leadership Summit -- InsideView, the only social selling provider that reveals the person behind the contact, today announced that Ralf VonSosen, Vice President of Marketing, is delivering a feature address at the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AA-ISP) Leadership Summit 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Earning a reputation as the premier conference for inside sales leaders, the Leadership Summit is recognized for delivering informative, thought-provoking presentations and collaborative discussions relevant to today's inside sales leaders.
Taking place Tuesday, April 17 at 11:30 a.m., VonSosen's presentation, "Selling to People, Not Contacts," explores how inside sales professionals can close more business in a world of social media and user-created content. Using today's powerful new social selling applications, it is now possible to not only find the right person, but contact them at the right time, with the right message to create an instant connection.
"Social media and the Internet are rapidly transforming sales," said VonSosen. "The days of business cards and Rolodex organizers are dead. In fact, we are already at an inflection point that is widening the chasm between sales leaders and laggards. Sales professionals that adopt new ways of social selling will have a powerful advantage to reach and exceed their sales quotas quarter after quarter."
In addition to VonSosen's address, InsideView will demonstrate its sales intelligence solution -- InsideView People Insights. The sales intelligence solution combines an enterprise-wide "social graph" of connections to prospects that leverage an organization's network of customers, employees, and executives, a complete social profile of individuals, and sales alerts based on meaningful professional events that can signal sales opportunities. InsideView People Insights arms sales professionals with actionable intelligence from social sources, media outlets, CRM records and relevant personal connections that help to build profitable, trusted relationships with prospects and customers.
"As the leader in social selling technologies, InsideView brings an important perspective to this year's conference," said Larry Reeves, chief operating officer for AA-ISP. "For inside sales professionals to be successful, it's critical that they understand how insights from social sources can help them reach the right person at the right time to increase their effectiveness. We are glad to welcome InsideView to our agenda."
The two-day Leadership Summit takes place April 17-18 at the Westin Galleria in Dallas, Texas. The event will address issues critical to today's inside sales organizations as identified in a recently commissioned survey of more than 1,000 inside sales leaders. Breakout sessions will include the sharing of best practices from a variety of organizations across many different industries as well as best-in-class solutions developed from the AA-ISP's Senior Executive Retreat that was held earlier in 2012. In addition, the Solution Provider Exhibit will offer attendees an opportunity to meet with leading inside sales vendors while seeing their various products and service offerings first hand.
