>>> Inquiry commented on the 10 Aug 2005: Indeed it does. In the exclusive Q&A session MXDJ conducted with 4 key Macromedia execs in conjunction with the launch of Studio 8, Jim Guerard - Vice President of Product Management and Product Marketing at Macromedia - was completely open when asked about that. Guerard says, in the Special Issue: "FreeHand was replaced by the addition of Contribute and FlashPaper to better fulfill the typical design-develop-maintain workflow needs of our customers. FreeHand is both an important and successful product, and will continue on as part of the Macromedia family of products." Hope that helps. Duty Editor |
